Abstract

The anthology "The Helices of Innovation – Volume 2" represents a milestone in the consolidation and expansion of the debate on helix models within the Brazilian context. The work positions itself as a theoretical-practical bridge that connects the Triple Helix approach to other schools of thought in innovation and socioeconomic development. Structured in five parts, it allows the reader to navigate from the theoretical foundations and historical evolution of the concept to concrete experiences. The collection showcases geographical and thematic diversity, offering a critical examination of the reality of university-industry-government relations in the national context, while also discussing current challenges such as regional disparities and the limitations of innovation policies. Volume II has the potential to become the primary Portuguese-language reference on the subject, serving both as a robust academic compendium and a pragmatic guide for policymakers, managers, and entrepreneurs.
