About the Journal

The journal will prioritize scientific articles that use empirical research, although it may, in specific cases, accept innovative essays (“position papers”), with the potential to open new fronts of research. In addition, it is open for publishing book reviews, as well as original documents of interest to the area.

The submitted articles are analyzed by anonymous referees, who are also unaware of the authorship of the works under analysis.

In the most recent evaluation by Capes (2017-2020), Third Millennium: Revista Crítica de Sociologia e Política was classified in stratum B1.
